Our core business is to acquire and develop rainforest and mangrove conservation Projects which will generate carbon credits (“CCs”) - specifically VCUs which are assessed and certified to the highest national and international standards. The national standards are established by the Indonesian National Registration System (“INRS”) and the international standards are certified by Verra. In accordance with Verra's highest nature-based standards: ‘Triple Gold’ CCB, as well as ‘SD VISta’ compliance with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (“SDG”). This creates the greatest possible independent international certification of the totality of the benefits created whether they be carbon, CCB or SD VISta. The aggregate of these certified benefits creates the most enduring sustainable projects, which are expected to attract a high demand and premium price over CCs from projects not having such characteristics.

Carbon economics has the potential to enable rainforest conservation projects to produce a commercial yield – in the form of CCs - which is analogous to yields of other commercial assets. This creates the potential for commercial investment in our Projects which is designed to be competitive with equivalent commercial investments, while also achieving our conservation objectives.

We believe correctly guided market economics has the potential to create both the right market outcomes as well as incentivize the right environmental outcomes. As consumers increasingly recognize and require carbon neutral policies, the demand for CCs will continue to increase, creating the investment case to increase our commercial yield.

The specific details of environmental policy may require a crystal ball – but the trend is clear – more and more businesses will become carbon neutral and will require higher and higher quality CCs to fill the gap in the market.
