About Us

We Save Rainforests – and Achieve a Return for Our Investors in The Process.

Tropical rainforests are disappearing at an unprecedented rate.

The devastating implications for our planet are not just measured in carbon: tropical rainforests are some of the most biodiverse habitats on earth with incalculable reserves of unique heritage. It is true that our forests act both as carbon ‘lungs’ and carbon ‘sinks’, regulating the temperature of our planet. But the value of a forest cannot be measured purely in terms of the carbon captured in its foliage (or even the hundreds of years of peat soil it has accumulated). A forest is a living ecosystem – from the humblest fungi and slime molds, to mosses, ferns and mighty trees. From the smallest insects, amphibians, rodents and carnivorous plants to their wisest benefactors – the orang-utan (literally ‘forest people’ in Indonesian) who live in harmony with it all.

Our Projects are funded by carbon economics – described in detail in Our Portfolio. We believe that short term human behavior (economics) can be aligned with long term preservation of our natural resources. It is in our collective interests to do so. Our mission is to align our need for long term capital investment with the planet’s need for long term ecosystem preservation.
